Accounting Intern
OFWF enthusiastically supports its Accounting Intern program helping students work
toward their accounting degree by gaining hands-on experience. Interns are assigned
to a mentor who helps guide their experiences during their time with OFWF. The
duration depends upon the candidate and how their schedule is structured.

Staff Accountant
Staff Accountants are an essential element of our team and work with firm leadership to
deliver attest and tax services for our clients. These associates will have an opportunity
to work in diverse areas of public accounting and over time, can help direct their
practice emphasis. Staff accountants typically work with a member of OFWF leadership
in completing work for our clients. They have the opportunity to work on both attest
(audits, reviews, etc.) engagements and tax return preparation for individuals, non-
profits, and businesses along with other engagement-driven projects.
Senior Accountant
Senior Accountants are high-performing professionals that provide essential leadership
on our projects and work with firm leadership to deliver attestation and tax services for
our clients. Senior Accountants will deepen their business acumen across various
sectors and hone their knowledge of attestation methodologies, audit strategies, tax
compliance and tax planning opportunities. Senior Accountants will also train, mentor
and lead others on projects and work with firm leadership to enhance our clients’
success.
Manager
Manager is the senior-most career position below partner within OFWF. This role has
oversight over client accounts. The Manager conducts client tax and audit engagement
planning, works directly with clients on business improvements/strategies, manages
client engagements, works to improve engagement efficiency and ensure client
satisfaction with the process and result. In performing these tasks, the manager
supervises staff on the project and acts as a mentor to them. As a primary client
contact, expansion of client portfolio and account services is also expected. Managers
are expected to be experienced in attestation engagements and/or tax disciplines and
are solid in their business knowledge to enhance the value they bring to the client
partnership. Their knowledge of public accountancy is deep, and they have a command
of attestation engagements along with significant GAAP knowledge and/or tax return
preparation, tax analysis and compliance for a variety of tax reporting types.

OFWF is a professional, public accountancy in Omaha, NE which includes a total staff of 25 - 30 partners and staff. The firm serves a wide array of small to medium businesses, nonprofits, and trusts with assurance, tax and business consulting services. Our clients span all business sectors, and our partners and staff have deep business experience which provides robust support to our clients.
