Michael Berry recently joined O’Donnell, Ficenec, Wills & Ferdig, LLP as a Manager. He graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Michael’s accounting background is in financial and performance auditing for clients in both the corporate and government arenas in addition to tax compliance and planning. Michael ran his own small business for 12 years, a landscaping company which he sold in the spring of 2011. Running a successful business gave Michael another layer of business experience that our clients benefit from: understanding the needs, demands and risks undertaken by business owners. The advisory work Michael does for our clients provides a valuable combination of accounting and tax knowledge married with the grounded common sense of a small business owner.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and supports OFWF clients who need assurance services, tax planning, and tax preparation. He is a servant leader and currently serves on the board of the ACLU of Nebraska and is a finance committee member at Nebraska Appleseed and Past President of the Fontenelle Forest Board. OFWF is very excited to have him join the team.
